Knowing where to access future fashion trend and colour predictions, can save time and money. Large fashion design companies pay fashion prediction agencies large amounts of money for fashion predictions, trends and colours predicted up to two years in advance. Here is my guide of ten web-sites where you can access fashion trend predictions, ideal for students working on projects or small independent designers. I have included some example of industry prediction agencies for when you make it big!

1) Fashion Capital - Fashion Capital have a paid members area where you can view mood-boards featuring trend predictions for future seasons. Before subscribing pay Fashion Trendsetters listed below a visit.
2) Fashion Era - This is a really good resources if researching historical fashion with good images and information. They include a trend prediction section usually only predicting one season in advance.
3) Fashion Trendsetters – This is the best free trend prediction web-site I have ever found. They include colours with Pantone references up to two years in advance. Covering future styles, textures, including menswear and underwear predictions.
4) Vogue – Shows trends usually predicted a season in advance. The trends are clearly displayed with catwalk images of designers collections and key fashion item of the season included.
5) Elle – Similar to vogue, glossy catwalk images of next seasons looks and key trends.
6) Trendstop – Trend analysis for fashion and creative professionals. A subscription to view future fashion predictions will cost thousands.
7) Mudpie – One of the most well know industry fashion prediction agencies. Again a subscription would cost a fortune, however visiting their web-site will give you an incite into the services such a agency offers.
Fashionising – Fashion blogs are a great place to find out future fashion trends and a good way to bring people to your blog. This site includes mood-boards and detailed information about key trends.
9) The Clothes Whisper – Another fashion blog featuring fashion predictions. I particularly liked the strong catwalk images of Channels AW 2010 collection, very inspiring.
10) Collette Costello - We will be keeping you up-dated with future fashion trends through our news page, we regularly visit trade shows and with our industry contacts have a good knowledge of future trends.
