List of the best independent magazines where you can find articles covering fashion and on-line blogs from the U.K.  As Oscar Wilde famously quoted “The only thing worse then being talked about, is not being talked about”.  Never a truer statement especially in the world of fashion.  As a fashion designer it is important to get your collections seen, independent magazines and blogs are a great way to do this.  Like independent boutiques these writers provide a platform for new talent and are always keen to be the first to discover the next “Henry Holland” or “Gareth Pugh“.  To attract the attention of independent magazines or on-line blogger you will need to write a press release.  See my article “How to Write a Press Release” coming soon!  I am continually adding to the list so if you write for a independent magazine or have a on-line blog that features fashion please contact me “Collette Costello“.

Manchester Confidential On-line – Great for fashion news in Manchester and worldwide fashion.

All About Manchester – Keep up-date with fashion, music and much more.  This was the first magazine to publish a article about “Collette Costello” back in 2008.

Large Manchester – Includes articles about up new Manchester fashion designers and current fashion trends.  I was interviewed by this magazine in August 2010 for a article called “Student Fashion”.
