Rent Fashion Studio/ Office – Textile and Fashion Designers

Are you a fashion and textiles designer that is looking for a studio space. We are opening our independent fashion studio based in Salford quays to fashion and textiles designers. Desks within our studio are available to rent on a month by month bases.

This opportunity would suit a independent designer that makes/ sells their work and is looking for a professional premises.

Renting a desk means that you can store your materials at the studio, your sewing machines and mannequins. Our studio is a good large space, with small kitchen and toilets. It is a modern building with good light and heating.

The studio is open Monday to Friday 9.00am until 5.00pm and you will have access during these hours.

We are a full CMT unit and have a industrial flatbed, three thread over-locker, vacuum table and steam iron. We have a large table for cutting patterns.

These spaces are limited and cost £60 per week.

Terms:

1) Minimum rent period is one month and you will be asked to pay per month up front £240.

2) You will be renting a desk only and will be expected to keep your area tidy as this is a professional working studio.

3) Industrial machines and cutting table will need to be booked in advance. You will need to have proven experience of using these machines and hours per week offered are limited.

4) This is a working studio so myself and other staff will be working in the studio. Courses will sometimes be taking place, usually this will be mornings and you can still access the studio.

5) The tables are rented to the designers only, therefore only the designer will be given access to the studio. This is also due to insurance purposes.

Where are we based:

Parking – Free parking is available just outside the venue.

The sessions will take place in our new for summer 2011 company premises Salford Quays, based on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre.
