Salford Design Aware – Collette Costello Fashion Event 2011

To celebrate three years in business I decided it was time to organise my first launch event, this coincided with the launch of my new web-site and featured boutique on ASOS Marketplace.  Wanting to do something other then the traditional catwalk show and with many creative people wanting to get involved the event became “Salford Design Aware”.

The event held at Mojos Manchester was a showcase, a collaboration of work by various Salford artists, designers and performers.  The artists included alongside my own collections were jeweller Kevin Buntin, painter Christopher Connell and theatre group Side by Side.  The event was a great chance to network and meet creative, influential people working in Salford.  The turn out was great and guests included Old Fashion Sue who blogged about the event, members of Salford Council, professional photographers, members of Salford business community and Salford City Radio even came to film the event.
