Athena Edinburgh Open Evening, 13th October - New Stockist!

We are proud to have been selected by Athena Boutique in Edinburgh as there latest independent stockists.  Athena Boutique is a cool independent forward thinking fashion boutique.  Started only in June 2011 by Rebecca Rawlinson, her idea to stock new designers and promote upcycled and handmade fashion is making the boutique a great sucess.  Edinburgh is one of my favourite cities and Bow street is Edinburgh’s answer to Manchester Northern Quarter.  It is clean and home to a number of trendy independent boutiques.  Rebecca has painted her boutique in my favourite colours orange and pink, making it a fun, lively place to pick up something unique.  Athena Bouique is now stocking the Collette Costello Autumn/ Winter collection, including skirts, bags and purses.  So pay Athena Boutique a visit, even better they have a open evening tonight!!

Athena is based in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town and has on offer hand crafted clothing, accessories and gifts made from a variety of local (and not so local) artists and designers.
Items range from beautiful Harris Tweed purses and felted accessories to bespoke one off pieces of clothing that are perfect if you are looking for something that is truly unique.
Athena’s own special clothing label ‘Gaia’s Wardrobe’ is made on the premises and aims to contribute to the ethos of sustainable fashion by creating garments that are made from existing clothes – items get cut up and each scrap is used to create something completely new so that no two items are the same. Come and see for yourself how a bag of old t-shirts can be created into a funky new dress that is totally unique but still kind to the environment as well as your purse.
