Marketplace What Is It?

Collette Costello Manchester Fashion Design company is proud that we have been selected as featured boutique on ASOS marketplace, visit our boutique and show your support by liking. 

Since spreading the word about our boutique there appears to be some confusion as to what ASOS Marketplace is!

Asos Marketplace is a combination of Facebook, Ebay, Blogger and the orginal ASOS.  It is a on-line shop where independent fashion designers and vintage sellers, can sell with the backing of established brand ASOS.  Like Ebay designers can log-on and up-load items for sale, unlike Ebay ASOS Marketplace is very selective about the images used and insist that all images are modelled by a person and the images are shot street style outside.  This keeps standards high and stops wholesalers hogging the market like they do on Ebay, stacking them high and selling them cheap.

Fashion Designers can apply to have their own featured boutique, this is really difficult to do.  I applied four time, being rejected until my Media City Photoshoot. It is good that it hard to get a boutique so you know the sellers with their own boutique have worked hard to get it and their products on sale will reflect this. 

Once you have got your own boutique, like Facebook the fashion boutiques on ASOS Marketplace are ranked through how many followers they have.  To build you followers boutiques are encouraged to blog, interacting with their customers talking maybe about their new fashion collection or latest fashion shoot.
