About Us

Collette Costello is an on-line fashion company based in Salford quays Manchester.  

The company was started back in 2008, recently you may have heard Collette being interviewed by Darryl Morris on BBC radio or seen our feature in Elle Magazine.  Kenco Millicano selected Collette in 2011 to be the face of fashion in Manchester,  she was interviewed as part of their campaign featured in the Manchester Evening News.

We regularly take part in many events; our latest project was a photo-shoot on Salford Quays Media City this included a team of six models, photographers and team of hair/ make-up artists.  Our photo-shoot was featured in the Guardian On-line and led to us being proudly selected as a featured boutique on ASOS Marketplace. 

How it Started

Collette Costello won 1st place in Salford Business Start-Up awards back in 2008, a cash prize with this money she started the company.  The company has expanded to include a successful on-line store and dressmaking courses that are run from her design studio in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester.

At the “Fashion Factory” we discover fabulous fabrics and retro prints.  Our team of expert fashion designers sketch, cut and stitch, specially making vintage style fashion such as clasp frame purse and prom dresses for you.  The bags, purses, skirts and dresses are immediately loaded up onto the web-site for you to view, fall in love with and purchase at the click of a button.

We are a fast moving independent fashion design business, bringing you limited edition fashion that looks vintage while being made from new fabrics. Our style is modern vintage, so if you love vintage style rock and roll skirts, prom dresses and clutch handbags pay our web-site a visit.

Dressmaking Courses

Learn to make the dress and skirts we sell.  Collette Costello as a qualified fashion teacher teaches special “Vintage” dressmaking courses where you can learn to make retro style dresses, skirts and handbags.  The courses are held at our Salford Quays fashion design studio.

New Designers

New emerging designers at “Collette Costello” can get a there work seen and promoted, designers can apply for a chance to sell their designs through our “Indie Store” or sign-up for a promotion package.  The packages give new fashion designers a chance to get involved in professional photo-shoots and catwalk shows.  Using our contacts in the industry we also offer specially designed packages for models wanting to get professional fashion shots for their casting porfolios.
